Messick Point is a kitesurfing spot on the west shore of the Chesapeake Bay, near Poquoson, Virginia. This small promontory offers direct bay access with good fetch to the east. The area is relatively undeveloped with coastal marshes and creeks. Messick Point benefits from good exposure to winds from all directions thanks to its position extending into the bay. A spot appreciated by Hampton Roads area riders seeking flat water conditions on the bay.
