Cárdenas is a kitesurf spot located on the southwest shore of Lake Nicaragua, in the department of Rivas. This spot offers flat water with views of the lake and surrounding volcanoes. Thermal winds and easterly trade winds create rideable conditions between November and April. The lake offers a tideless body of water, suitable for beginners and intermediates.
