Overview

Brights Grove is a neighborhood of Sarnia on Lake Huron's east shore at the lake's southern end. The beach faces west with immense fetch across Lake Huron (over 200 km). The southernmost Lake Huron spot in Ontario.

Residential beach with public access. Street parking. Sand beach launch. Exposed spot in west winds — powerful conditions possible in strong winds.

Lake Huron facing west. Freshwater, sustained chop in west winds (200+ km fetch). Sandy bottom, gradual depth. Water cooler than Lake Erie, 17-21°C in summer. Significant waves in heavy weather.
