Cobourg Beach is the main beach of Cobourg, a popular summer destination on Lake Ontario's north shore. The large sandy beach faces south with excellent fetch. Victoria Park Beach is one of Lake Ontario's most beautiful beaches.
Municipal parking nearby. The beach is wide and well-maintained. Note: heavily used swimming area in summer — ride outside marked zones. Thermal south winds are consistent in summer afternoons.

Open lake water facing south. Freshwater, moderate to strong chop. Sandy bottom, gradual depth. Large riding area in front of the beach. Pleasant water temperatures in summer (19-22°C).
Very popular beach in summer — heavy cohabitation with swimmers. Strictly respect marked swimming areas. Boat traffic around the marina. Cold water in spring and fall.
