The area combines Lake Huron waves with the powerful St. Clair River current, creating demanding but exciting conditions for advanced riders. The fetch from the entire Lake Huron feeds this spot with waves in north winds.

North to northeast winds generate significant waves that combine with the current, creating complex and technical conditions. Cold water requiring full wetsuit except in midsummer. Conditions change quickly between the lake zone (waves) and the river zone (flat current).
Very powerful current toward the St. Clair River — risk of being swept downstream quickly. Intense commercial shipping with large freighters passing under the bridge. Powerful waves in north winds with over 200 km of fetch. Bridge structures and pillars to absolutely avoid. International border with Canada. Cold water with hypothermia risk. Combination of waves and current creating unpredictable conditions. Spot reserved for experienced riders.
