Sea Pines / Nighthawk Bay is a kitesurf spot located on the bay side of North Padre Island, on the Laguna Madre. Nighthawk Bay offers a large expanse of shallow flats protected from ocean wind and waves. It's an excellent spot for beginners and freestyle thanks to consistent flat water conditions. The Sea Pines residential area provides convenient water access with parking on adjacent streets.

Shallow Laguna Madre flats in Nighthawk Bay. Sandy bottom, you can stand for a great distance. Very flat and protected water. Warm water. Ideal conditions for learning, freestyle, and wingfoil. The bay offers natural protection against chop.
Stingrays — always shuffle your feet. Intense sun, hydration essential. Respect private properties in the residential area. Occasional jellyfish. Bottom sometimes muddy in certain areas of the bay.
