St. Christopher's Beach sits on Lake Huron's east shore north of Goderich. The beach faces west with over 200 km fetch across the lake. Similar to other Huron coast beaches between Goderich and Kincardine.
Access via coastal roads. Sandy beach, easy launch. Rural and uncrowded spot. West and northwest winds dominate and offer the best conditions.
Lake Huron facing west. Freshwater, sustained chop in west winds. Sandy bottom, gradual depth. The famous Lake Huron sunsets accompany late-day sessions.

Large fetch — significant waves and chop in strong west winds. Shore currents. Unsupervised beach — ride with a buddy. Cold water in spring (full wetsuit until July).
