Mosquito Island is a kitesurf spot in Galveston Bay, on a low sand bar/island accessible only by water. This spot offers unique conditions with shallow flats around the island, allowing riding in a wild setting in the middle of the bay. Access requires a boat or a long downwinder from shore. It's a spot appreciated by experienced riders seeking isolation and good flat water conditions.

Hazards
