Pawleys Island is a kitesurfing spot located on the Atlantic coast of South Carolina. This barrier island offers prevailing southwest and south winds in summer (sea breeze) and northeast winds in winter. The spot is suitable for intermediate riders with sandy beaches and relatively shallow waters on the bay side.
