Sengekontacket Pond is a very popular kitesurf spot located on Martha's Vineyard, on the east side of the island. This large tidal pond offers exceptional flat water conditions, ideal for learning and freestyle. One of the best flat water spots in New England.

Flat and shallow body of water, ideal conditions for learning. Tidal pond with calm water and sandy bottom. Very little chop even in sustained winds. Light tidal currents. Warmer water than the ocean in summer.
Very shallow areas at low tide – watch out for fins. Access to Martha's Vineyard by ferry only. Very crowded spot in summer. Check local restrictions. Jellyfish possible in summer.
