Kitesurf spot at Les Amicaux sector (Sépaq), on Lac Saint-Jean, near Pointe-Taillon National Park. This sector is part of the Sépaq network and offers lake beach access with outdoor recreation facilities. Conditions are similar to neighbouring Camping Belley and Pointe-Taillon spots, with fine sand beaches and shallow water characteristic of Lac Saint-Jean.

Lac Saint-Jean, Les Amicaux sector. Warm freshwater in summer (20-24°C). Sand beach with progressive bottom. Fetch toward south and southwest. Short chop in sustained wind. Shallow area for long distances from shore. Conditions very similar to neighbouring Camping Belley.
Summer thunderstorms possible — the lake is exposed. Short waves in strong wind. Sépaq access fees. Don't venture too far from shore. Current possible near the Péribonka River mouth.
