Cassie Cape is a kitesurfing spot located on the southeast coast of New Brunswick, near Shediac, in the Northumberland Strait. This sand point extends into the sea and offers an open body of water with varied conditions. The Northumberland Strait offers waters among the warmest north of Virginia, making kitesurfing particularly enjoyable in summer. The prevailing southwest and west winds are reliable. The sandy bottom allows for safe riding. Kitesurf NB, based in the Shediac area, offers certified lessons and equipment rental. The season runs from June to September. This spot is suitable for intermediate riders. The proximity to Shediac, the Canadian lobster capital, offers a unique culinary experience after sessions.
