Overview

Assateague Island (bay side) is a flat water spot on the west side of Assateague Island, facing Sinepuxent Bay in Maryland. This national park and seashore preserves a wild barrier island famous for its wild horses. The bay side offers protected flat water conditions, ideal for freestyle and foil, in contrast to the ocean side. Vast mud flats at low tide create a unique playground. An exceptional natural spot where you can ride alongside wild horses.
