Ross Park is a kitesurf spot located on an inland lake in southwestern Michigan, near Kalamazoo. This park provides access to a water body suitable for kitesurfing and wingfoiling. The Kalamazoo region has numerous inland lakes offering flat water conditions. The park features green spaces for rigging and launching.
Inland water body offering flat water conditions with light chop in sustained winds. The lake is moderately sized, limiting wave formation. Sandy bottom. Water warms up nicely in summer, allowing riding in a shorty from June to September. Ideal conditions for freeride and freestyle in flat water.

Boat traffic in summer with motorboats and jet skis. Frequent swimmers and kayakers in the park area. Trees and possible power lines near shore — caution when launching and landing the kite. Violent summer thunderstorms possible with lightning risk — exit water immediately. Riding area limited by lake size.
