Anchorage Provincial Park is a kitesurfing spot located on Grand Manan Island, in the Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick. This provincial park offers a beautiful sandy beach with access to the waters of the Bay of Fundy. The spot is exposed to southwest and west winds mainly. The Bay of Fundy tides are among the highest in the world, creating changing conditions and significant currents. The park offers camping and picnic facilities. The sailing season runs from June to September. This spot is reserved for advanced riders due to extreme tidal currents and the isolation of the island (accessible only by ferry). The water is cold and a full wetsuit is required.
