Victoria Beach is a historic cottage community on the east shore of Lake Winnipeg, north of Grand Beach. This spot offers lake access with considerable fetch from west and northwest winds.
Victoria Beach is less crowded than Grand Beach, offering more space for kitesurfing. The fetch from the west shore (60+ km) generates significant waves. Cottage community with relaxed atmosphere. Season from June to October.
Fresh water. Temperature of 18-22°C in summer. Sandy bottom. Long west fetch — formed waves in sustained winds. Shallow south basin. Fewer swimmers than Grand Beach.
