Husavik Road is an access point to the west shore of Lake Winnipeg, between Gimli and Winnipeg Beach. The name reflects the region's Icelandic heritage (Húsavík is an Icelandic town).
This lesser-known spot offers lake access with less traffic than Gimli or Winnipeg Beach. Same wind conditions (onshore with east winds) with the large Lake Winnipeg fetch. Season from June to October.
