Duxbury is a kitesurf spot located on the Duxbury Beach barrier beach, on the south shore of Massachusetts. This long sand strip separates Duxbury Bay from Massachusetts Bay. The east side offers wave exposure, while the bay side provides calmer conditions.

Ocean side: Massachusetts Bay conditions with waves and swell possible in east or northeast winds. Bay side: protected flat water. Significant tidal currents at the bay entrance. Large tidal range.
Very strong tidal currents at the Duxbury Bay entrance. Large tidal range significantly modifying the water area. Rip currents on the ocean side. Cold water year-round. Access may be restricted – check regulations.
