Windsurfer's Beach is a spot located on the Rickenbacker Causeway, right next to the famous Hobie Beach (Kite Beach Miami). As its name suggests, it is historically a windsurfing spot, but kiting is also practiced here. The spot offers bay side (Biscayne Bay) access with flat water conditions similar to Hobie Beach. The easterly trade winds blow side-shore. It's a good alternative spot when Hobie Beach is too crowded, with a more relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere.
The water body is similar to Hobie Beach — shallow Biscayne Bay waters with sandy bottom. Flat to light chop conditions in trade winds. The water is warm year-round. Depth varies with the tide. The riding area shares the same bay as Hobie Beach, with the Miami skyline as backdrop.

Open all year round
Same precautions as Hobie Beach: watch for rider traffic, designated zones, tidal currents in the channel, stingrays in the sand. The spot may be shared between windsurfers and kitesurfers — respect right of way rules. Regulated parking along the causeway.
