Navarre Pier Beach is located on Santa Rosa Island, in Navarre, between Pensacola Beach and Fort Walton Beach. The south-facing beach on the Gulf of Mexico offers white quartz sand and emerald waters characteristic of the Emerald Coast. The Navarre Beach Pier (1,500ft) is one of the longest in Florida. The spot is less crowded than neighboring Destin or Pensacola Beach beaches.

Emerald and warm Gulf of Mexico waters. Very fine white quartz sand bottom. Moderate waves facing south. East-west longshore drift current. Sandbars at low tide. Cooler water than south Florida in winter.
Navarre Beach Pier — maintain a large safety distance. Rip currents. Possible sharks. Jellyfish (especially in summer). Anglers from the pier with lines and hooks. Eglin AFB military zone nearby.
