Spreckelsville is one of the most famous kitesurfing spots in the world, on the north shore of Maui, Hawaii, between Kahului and Paia. Also known as "Kite Beach," it's the birthplace of kitesurfing on Maui. Northeast trade winds blow consistently and powerfully (15-25 knots), creating perfect side-onshore conditions on this long sandy beach. The spot offers waves, chop, and freestyle conditions. Warm tropical water in a spectacular setting with views of Haleakala.
