Jericho West Beach is the western section of Jericho Beach in Vancouver, located at the west end of English Bay. The spot faces northwest toward the North Shore mountains and offers beautiful views of West Vancouver. It's a popular urban spot, easily accessible from downtown Vancouver.

Flat to slightly choppy water in the protected bay. Sandy bottom. The bay is well sheltered from ocean swells by Vancouver Island and the Georgia Strait islands. Progressive depth from the beach. Moderate tidal current in English Bay.
Heavy marine traffic: cargo ships, ferries, recreational boats and kayaks. Swimming area to respect in summer. Kitesurfing may be restricted — check Vancouver Park Board local regulations. Tidal currents possible. Cold water year-round (wetsuit required).
