Ada Bojana is a legendary river island at the mouth of the Bojana River, at the very south of Montenegro. It is one of the most famous kitesurfing spots in the Balkans, offering both flat water on the river side and wave conditions on the Adriatic side. The thermal Maestral (NW) dominates in summer with great consistency. The river side, with its flat and shallow water over a sandy bottom, is an ideal playground for beginners. The sea side offers waves with Jugo wind (SE/S) for experienced riders.
