Big Lagoon is a paradise kitesurfing spot located in François Péron National Park in Shark Bay, Western Australia. This second entry point to the lagoon offers exceptional flat water conditions in crystal-clear, warm turquoise water. Note: this spot appears to be a duplicate of the Big Lagoon spot (ID 2967). Access requires a 4x4. Thermal winds from the south and southeast blow from September to April between 15 and 35 knots. Preferably ride at high tide as the lagoon can become very shallow at low tide.
Open all year round
