Honfleur is a kitesurf spot on the south shore of the Seine estuary (Calvados), just east of the famous historic port town of Honfleur. The estuary here is wide and catches West to North-West winds funneling from the open sea up into the estuary mouth.

Tidal spot with large tidal range. Heavy maritime traffic from the Le Havre port opposite — strictly observe navigation rules. Best conditions with strong W/NW winds and appropriate tidal level. An unusual urban estuary spot.
