Tokerau Beach is a kitesurf spot located on the east coast of Northland, on the Karikari Peninsula. This magnificent white sand beach faces northeast, offering direct exposure to the Pacific trade winds. The prevailing northeast to east winds are onshore and regular, particularly reliable during the New Zealand summer. Southeast winds work as side-shore. The beach is long and uncrowded, offering considerable space. The swell can be significant in strong winds. Spot for intermediate riders.
