Laguna de Rocha is a kitesurfing spot in the Rocha department, on Uruguay's Atlantic coast. This coastal lagoon, separated from the ocean by a sandbar, offers exceptional flat water conditions in a protected natural setting.

Prevailing winds come from the south, southeast, and northeast, with speeds of 15-25 knots during the season (October to March). The lagoon offers shallow flat water, perfect for learning and freestyle.

The spot suits beginners. The lagoon is part of a nature reserve with remarkable biodiversity. Access is from La Paloma.
