Los Guirres (Playa Nueva) is a dramatic black volcanic sand beach on the west coast of La Palma, created by the 1949 and 1971 volcanic eruptions. Exposed to Atlantic westerly swells, it's primarily a surf spot with powerful waves. Potential for wingfoil in SW/W wind.
