Takutairaria Bay is a small bay on the west coast of Waiheke Island, in the Hauraki Gulf. This discreet spot offers protected sailing conditions with a relatively calm water area. The west-facing orientation of the bay makes it favorable for SW to NW winds. The spot is suitable for intermediate riders. Access may be limited and parking restricted. Waiheke Island is accessible by ferry from Auckland.
