North Sea — waves depending on wind. Choppy to medium waves in W/NW. Large tidal range. Cold year-round. Good for freeride and wave riding. Windy conditions can be demanding in strong SW/W.

Beach parking in Zoutelande. GPS: Zoutelande, Zeeland (Walcheren island). Access via N287 from Middelburg or Vlissingen.

SW/W/NW/N/NNW onshore. SW dominant direction (strongest in autumn/winter). N most stable. No significant wind shadows on this west-facing coast. Direct Atlantic fetch. Year-round windy, strongest October–March. Less gusty than inland spots.
