Amite River is an atypical kitesurf spot located on the Amite River in Livingston Parish, central Louisiana. This river spot offers very different conditions from coastal spots, with a narrow body of water surrounded by vegetation. The spot is mainly used by locals when wind conditions are sufficient. The riding area is limited by the river's width, requiring good kite control.
