El Burrero is a wave and freeride spot on the east coast, between Ojos de Garza and Playa de Vargas. The NE wind is slightly lighter than Pozo and more side-shore, making it better for wave surfing down the line.
With SW wind (rare), El Burrero becomes a beginner-friendly flat water spot at low tide. But with NE wind and waves, the shorebreak on stones at high tide makes it challenging. A breakwater wall creates difficult entry/exit conditions.
Wave riding with NE wind. Flat water with SW wind at low tide. Breakwater limits launch zone. From El Burrero you can sail to Erizo spot (by water only).
