Mårtensviken is a lake kitesurf spot located in Jämtland County, central Sweden, at 292 meters altitude. The spot is on Lake Storsjön, the fifth largest lake in Sweden. Lake Storsjön offers a vast water area for kitesurfing. The winds are influenced by the surrounding mountainous terrain and can be channeled through the valleys. In winter, the lake freezes and allows snowkite practice. Mårtensviken is a spot appreciated by local riders from the Östersund area. The water area is suitable for intermediate riders.
