Tibau is a kitesurf spot located at the far west of Rio Grande do Norte, near the border with Ceará. The trade winds blow strongly between 15 and 25 knots from July to February. The spot offers ocean conditions with waves, suited for intermediate riders. The wind is particularly powerful here thanks to the coastal channeling effect.
