Skarø is a tiny, flat island (about 20 inhabitants) in the South Funen Archipelago, accessible by ferry from Svendborg. The spot near the harbour offers a flat, shallow water area stretching about 500 m towards the northwest headland. In NW winds, the water is perfectly flat thanks to the headland's protection. Weed fin mandatory.

Flat, shallow water with large standing areas. The further west behind the headland, the shallower and more protected the water. Ideal flat water runway for freestyle and freeride. Weed fin essential year-round.
Erratic boulders scattered in the bay, particularly in the eastern area — easily overlooked and dangerous. Very limited infrastructure on the island — no shops. Access by ferry only.
