Camp Bay is Roatan's premier kitesurfing spot, located on the east end of the island. This 2 km long beach offers ideal side-shore to side-onshore wind conditions for kitesurfing, twin tip, surfboard, and foiling.

East to northeast trade winds blow from February to August with 15-30 knots. Peak is in April-May with 20+ knots almost every day. The barrier reef a few hundred meters to the north protects the water.

Kitesurf Roatan school is based at Camp Bay Lodge, right on the beach. Boat shuttles and downwinders to the Mangrove Flats are organized in the afternoon for flat water sessions. The spot suits all levels.
