Oneroa Beach is the main beach of the village of Oneroa on Waiheke Island, in the Hauraki Gulf. This small sandy bay offers a charming setting with its cafés and shops perched above. The northwest orientation exposes the beach to the prevailing winds from the gulf, but the limited space restricts kitesurfing to calm days.

The spot is suitable for intermediate riders who are familiar with local conditions. Waiheke Island is accessible by ferry from Auckland and offers an exceptional wine and dining scene. Be mindful of sharing the beach with swimmers, as it gets very busy in summer.
