Dream Spot is a lagoon kite spot on the Kalpitiya peninsula in North Western Province. Located in a sheltered area of the lagoon, it offers flat water conditions during the SW monsoon from May to October.

A beginner to intermediate flat water spot. The lagoon here is shallow with a sandy bottom. No waves, no tidal influence, no strong currents. Ideal for freestyle practice and learning. The "dream" name reflects the quality of the flat water conditions. Some kite operations nearby. Less crowded than Kappalady Lagoon.
