Mini Wella is a spot on the northern part of the Kalpitiya peninsula in North Western Province. The spot is on the ocean side, facing west toward the Indian Ocean. It receives the SW monsoon winds from May to October.
An intermediate ocean spot. The west-facing beach gets direct SW monsoon exposure with waves and currents. Sandy bottom. The "Mini Wella" name suggests smaller wave conditions compared to other ocean spots. Good for riders transitioning from lagoon to ocean riding. Tide-dependent conditions - check tide times before sessions.
