Overview

Warder is an official kitespot on the western shore of the Markermeer, on the Zeedijk between Edam and Warder. The flat freshwater conditions make this one of the only reliable spots in the Netherlands for east winds — often busy on E wind days as an alternative to the North Sea coast.
