Ifaty is a kitesurf spot located on the southwest coast of Madagascar, near Tulear. The spot faces west with a large lagoon protected by the coral reef. The southeast trade winds blow side-shore from May to November. The flat water conditions in the lagoon are suitable for intermediate riders.
