Kassiesbaai is the historic fishermen's quarter of Arniston, with its whitewashed cottages classified as national heritage. The kite spot is on the beach in front of the village, offering intermediate conditions with sand and easier access than the rocky Waenhuiskrans point. The setting is authentic and picturesque.
