Tinley Manor Beach Point is a kite spot on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast, north of Ballito. This point offers kite conditions with warm tropical waters (22-26°C). Less crowded than Ballito, offering more space. The point creates interesting local wind effects. Suitable for intermediate riders.
The spot works in NE to SE winds. The point offers varied conditions on each side. Best at mid-tide. Mixed sand and rock bottom at the point.

The dominant wind is the NE (summer trade wind), blowing side-onshore on this east-facing coast. The point can create local accelerations. Reliable thermal wind in the afternoon. Year-round, best October to April.
Rocks at the point. Coastal currents. Sharks present. Jellyfish in summer. Solo sailing not recommended.
