Rocky Bay is a kite spot on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast, between Scottburgh and Kelso. This rocky bay offers kite conditions with warm tropical waters (22-26°C). The spot combines sandy beach and rocky sections. Pleasant natural setting, less crowded than Durban beaches. Suitable for intermediate riders.
The spot works in NE to SE winds. The bay offers some protection. Tide influences conditions: at low tide, rocks are exposed. Best at mid rising tide. Mixed sand and rock bottom.
