This long sandy beach offers an urban setting with warm subtropical waters (20-24°C). The spot is accessible with good infrastructure. Suitable for intermediate riders on the beach, watch for surfers in the wave zone.
The spot works in SW to SE winds. Long sandy beach with regular waves. Tide influences conditions: at low tide, very wide beach and easy launch zone. At high tide, beach is narrower and waves closer to shore. Kite zone separated from the surf zone.
Warm subtropical water (20-24°C). Sandy bottom. Regular waves of 0.5 to 1.5 m in normal conditions. Moderate coastal currents. Good conditions for wave riding. Shore break possible in large swell.

The dominant wind is the south-west (SW), blowing side-onshore on this south-facing coast. East London is nicknamed "Windy City" for its reliable summer winds. SW thermal wind reinforced in the afternoon. SE to S winds are also favourable. Season: October to March.
