The dominant wind is the NE (summer trade wind), blowing side-onshore. Reliable thermal wind in the afternoon. The coast starts to face more south here, making SSW winds more side-onshore. Year-round, best October to April.
Shore break in large swell. Coastal currents. Sharks despite nets. Jellyfish in summer. Swimmers in peak season.
