Breezes Beach is a kitesurf spot on the southeast coast of Zanzibar. The beach faces east onto the Indian Ocean and receives the southeast trade winds during the Kusi season (June to October). The coral reef creates a reef flat that is exposed at low tide, offering ultra-flat water conditions perfect for kitesurfing. The tide is the key element of this spot: it completely transforms the riding conditions. At low tide, you ride on just a few centimeters of water over the reef. Ideal for beginners and intermediates.
