Southern Cross is a kite spot on the beach between Great Brak River and Glentana, on the Garden Route. The beach is wide and offers good wind conditions with easy access. The spot is named after the Southern Cross Beach residential complex. It's a good intermediate spot with space and moderate waves.
Works in SE, E and SW from October to March. Wide beach. Rideable at all tides. Moderate waves.

Moderate waves on sandy bottom. Water at 17-21°C, 3/2 to shorty wetsuit.
Parking in the Southern Cross residential area. Easy beach access.
SE and E side-onshore, 15-25 knots from October to March. SW onshore also works. Reliable wind on this well-exposed stretch of coast.
Sharks. Lateral current. Rocks at the beach ends.
