Devils Horn is a kitesurfing spot located on the rocky coastline near Oyster Bay in the Eastern Cape, between Jeffreys Bay and Humansdorp. This exposed spot offers powerful conditions with swell and waves breaking on rocky reefs. The setting is wild and isolated, typical of this preserved coastal section. Reserved for experienced riders due to rocks and demanding conditions.
Rocky reef spot that works with south-westerly to westerly winds as side-onshore. Indian and Atlantic swells generate waves on the reefs. Significant tide — conditions change significantly between high and low tide. Best at mid-rising tide.
Ocean water with Agulhas current influence — temperature 18-22°C in summer, 15-18°C in winter. Wetsuit recommended. Waves and swell on rocky reefs. Current possible around rocky points.

The dominant wind is south-westerly, blowing side-onshore on this south-facing coast. Westerly and WSW winds are also favourable. The north-easterly wind is offshore and makes conditions dangerous. Summer winds (October to March) are most reliable with afternoon thermal reinforcement.
