Dunes is a beach spot between Noordhoek and Kommetjie on the Atlantic coast of the Cape Peninsula. The beach is lined with sand dunes and offers a wild, natural setting. The south-easterly Cape Doctor blows side-offshore, creating advanced wave conditions. Exposed to big Atlantic swells. Spot rarely visited by kiters.
Works with SW/W swell and SE Cape Doctor. Waves 1-3+ m. Sandy bottom. Offshore wind. Wild and advanced spot.

SE Cape Doctor side-offshore. Wind of 15 to 35 knots from October to March. Conditions similar to Noordhoek and Kommetjie.
